Resource Developer

Empowerment Advisors is seeking a qualified and experienced VET Resource Developer to develop, review, and maintain high-quality learning, teaching, and assessment resources for Australian VET programs in construction, health, business, and hospitality.

The ideal candidate will have strong academic writing, research, and analytical skills, practical industry knowledge, and experience in curriculum or assessment development. The candidate will work closely with Australia-based VET specialists, trainers, assessors, and quality and compliance teams to ensure that learning resources meet relevant Australian VET standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, review, update, and finalize Australian VET course content, learning materials, and assessment resources.
• Prepare Learner Guides, Trainer Guides, presentations, practical activities, assessment tools, observation checklists, evidence guides, mapping documents, and digital learning materials.
• Analyze and interpret Australian Training Packages, qualifications, Units of Competency, elements, performance criteria, foundation skills, and assessment requirements.
• Develop course content covering fundamental concepts, practical applications, and industry-based examples.
• Contextualize learning and assessment resources to suit relevant industries and training requirements.
• Conduct quality reviews, validation, mapping, and revisions based on feedback from subject-matter experts and quality assurance teams.
• Collaborate with Australian VET course specialists, trainers, assessors, and compliance teams to ensure the accuracy and relevance of learning resources.
• Ensure that resources align with applicable Australian VET standards, competency-based training principles, and regulatory requirements.
• Utilize Microsoft Office applications, AI platforms, and digital tools to enhance resource development and productivity.
• Manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines while maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy.
• Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Practical or workplace knowledge in a relevant industry.
• Experience in VET curriculum development, course development, learning-resource development, or assessment development.
• Understanding of competency-based education and training principles.
• Strong academic English writing, communication, research, and analytical skills.
• Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other relevant digital learning tools.
• Strong computer skills and practical knowledge of AI platforms.
• Ability to work collaboratively toward institutional and team objectives.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Professional maturity, accountability, and a responsible approach to assigned duties.

Desirable Qualifications and Experience

• Knowledge of Nepal's Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT) curriculum.
• Understanding of the Australian VET system.
• Experience working with Australian RTOs, VET colleges, TAFE institutions, or other education providers.
• Experience developing Learner Guides, Trainer Guides, assessment tools, mapping documents, validation documents, and LMS or digital learning materials.
