Job Description
A. Intelligence Collection
Gather qualitative and quantitative market intelligence across relevant industries.
Track competitor activities, market shifts, product launches, and pricing updates.
Develop intelligence briefs and weekly/monthly reports for leadership teams.
Maintain a database of industry insights, stakeholders, and market movements.
B. Market Research & Analysis
Conduct detailed market research to assess industry size, demand patterns, and potential customer segments.
Identify new business opportunities based on market gaps and trends.
Support feasibility studies and business case development.
Evaluate customer needs, buying behavior, and emerging market expectations.
C. Trend Analysis
Monitor global and local trends relevant to the company’s products and services.
Analyze sector-specific advancements, technological changes, and shifting consumer preferences.
Prepare trend reports to aid strategic planning, product development, and investment decisions.
D. Pre-Sales Data Collection & Support
Collect and organize pre-sales data including customer requirements, product specs, and industry benchmarks.
Prepare pre-sales documentation, sales decks, and customer insight reports.
Support the sales team with accurate and updated data during client pitch preparation.
Assist in lead qualification based on research and data-driven evaluation.
E. Cross-Functional Coordination
Collaborate with sales, marketing, operations, and product teams to share insights and recommendations.
Work closely with the leadership team to align research outcomes with strategic goals.
Coordinate with external stakeholders, agencies, and partners for research inputs when required.
Job Specification
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Economics, Data Analysis, or related fields.
1–3 years of experience in Business Development, Market Research, Intelligence Collection, or related roles.
Experience in multi-industry or group-company environments is an advantage.
Technical Skills
Strong knowledge of market research tools, data collection methods, and analysis techniques.
Ability to create analytical reports, dashboards, and presentations.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); familiarity with CRM tools is a plus.
Soft Skills
Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy in data interpretation.
