Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personalised, high-end customer service aligned with boutique standards.
  • Offer styling advice based on individual customer preferences, occasions, and trends.
  • Act as a brand ambassador, maintaining a premium and elegant brand image.
  • Build long-term relationships with clients (VIP customers, repeat buyers).
  • Achieve and exceed boutique sales targets and individual KPIs.
  • Maintain deep knowledge of fabrics, designs, fits, and current fashion trends.
  • Ensure boutique visual merchandising reflects a luxury and attractive display.
  • Assist in selecting and coordinating outfits for customers (complete looks).
  • Handle custom orders, alterations coordination, and special client requests.
  • Manage customer feedback, complaints, and after-sales service professionally.
  • Monitor stock levels, manage inventory, and coordinate restocking.
  • Train and guide junior staff on customer handling and product knowledge.
  • Promote exclusive collections, new arrivals, and boutique offers.
  • Maintain cleanliness, ambiance, and overall boutique presentation standards.
  • Handle billing and POS operations and maintain accurate sales records.
  • Support social media or client outreach (WhatsApp, Instagram follow-ups) for sales.
  • Assist in organising in-store events, fashion previews, or private showings.
Job Specification
  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant certification in Fashion, Business, or related field
  • Minimum 2–4 years of experience in fashion retail or boutique sales
  • Strong knowledge of fashion trends, fabrics, styling, and garment fitting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to achieve and exceed sales targets
  • Strong customer service and relationship-building skills (VIP client handling preferred)
  • Good sense of style, grooming, and professional appearance
  • Experience in visual merchandising and boutique presentation standards
  • Ability to handle custom orders and coordinate alterations
  • Basic computer skills and experience with POS/billing systems
  • Familiarity with social media platforms (Instagram, WhatsApp) for client engagement
  • Strong negotiation and persuasive selling skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
  • Leadership ability to guide and support junior staff
  • Flexible to work weekends, holidays, and extended retail hours
