Position Summary
The Senior Admin and Accounts Officer will be responsible for managing day-to-day administrative operations while overseeing accounting and financial tasks of the firm. The role requires strong organizational, financial management, and coordination skills to ensure smooth office operations and accurate financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Administrative Responsibilities
Oversee and manage daily administrative activities of the office.
Maintain office records, documentation, and filing systems.
Coordinate with management, staff, and external stakeholders for operational requirements.
Manage office supplies, vendor relations, and service providers.
Supervise administrative staff and ensure smooth workflow within the office.
Assist management in policy implementation and office procedures.
Handle official correspondence, documentation, and report preparation.
Accounting & Financial Responsibilities
Maintain proper books of accounts and financial records of the firm.
Handle accounts payable and receivable functions.
Prepare financial reports, statements, and summaries.
Assist in budgeting, financial planning, and expense monitoring.
Manage bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
Ensure compliance with taxation and regulatory requirements.
Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and financial institutions when required.
Support management in financial analysis and decision-making.
Compliance & Reporting
Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
Prepare periodic financial and administrative reports for management.
Maintain confidentiality of financial and company information.
Job Specification
Educational Qualification
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
Professional certification such as CA/ACCA (running or completed) will be an added advantage.
Experience
Minimum 3–4 years of experience in administration and accounting roles.
Prior experience in accounting firms, audit firms, or corporate finance departments will be preferred.
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and accounting software.
Good understanding of taxation and financial compliance.
Excellent organizational and administrative management skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
Good communication and coordination skills.
