Job Description
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant with strong knowledge of Tally to manage and maintain financial records, prepare financial reports, and ensure compliance with accounting and tax regulations. The ideal candidate will play a key role in the day-to-day financial operations of the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely data entry in Tally .
- Record all vouchers including sales, purchase, receipts, payments, journal, and contra.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements through Tally.
- Reconcile bank statements and vendor accounts using Tally.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable and follow up on outstanding balances.
- Generate GST, VAT, TDS, and other statutory reports using Tally.
- Assist in preparing payroll and related tax filings through Tally.
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation.
- Maintain inventory records and handle cost center management in Tally.
- Collaborate with management to improve financial procedures and systems.
Job Specification
Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Certification or training in Tally is highly desirable.
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Hands-on experience in Tally ERP (Tally Prime preferred).
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong command over Tally software including financial reports, taxation, and inventory modules.
- Good understanding of accounting principles and statutory compliance.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and general computer literacy.
- Ability to maintain accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
