Job Description

The MIS Executive is responsible for managing sales-related data, reporting, and coordination functions within the Sales department. This role involves preparing accurate and timely MIS reports, coordinating sales order processing, monitoring sales and collection performance, and managing distributor claims and credit security documentation. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, advanced Excel proficiency, and prior experience in the FMCG sector.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Collection Planning / Reporting

  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly Sales MIS reports for management review.
  • Track sales performance, inventory movement, and distributor/SKU-wise sales data.
  • Prepare sales achievement, stock aging, and collection reports.
  • Support sales forecasting and planning activities with accurate data analysis.
  • Ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and timely submission of all MIS reports.
  • Prepare monthly collection plans and follow up with the sales team to track progress.

Order Processing

  • Receive, process, and monitor sales orders in coordination with the sales team.
  • Liaise with internal departments (warehouse, logistics, accounts) to ensure timely order processing and dispatch.
  • Follow up on pending orders and maintain accurate, up-to-date order records.

Distributor Claim Management

  • Ensure timely receipt, verification, and follow-up of distributor claims.
  • Coordinate with Sales and Accounts teams for claim approval and settlement.
  • Collect and maintain distributor credit security instruments in line with company policy.
  • Maintain records and monitor the status of pending and settled claims and security documents.
Job Specification
  • Bachelor's degree in Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in MIS reporting or Sales Coordination; FMCG industry experience required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with advanced skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, macros) preferred.
  • Experience working with ERP software will be an added advantage.
