Job Description

The Academic Head & IELTS/PTE Instructor is responsible for delivering high-quality English language preparation classes for IELTS and PTE candidates while overseeing academic standards and student performance. This role combines classroom instruction with academic leadership, including curriculum planning, mock test administration, student progress tracking, and faculty coordination. The position plays a vital role in ensuring student success, course completion, and a positive, results-driven learning environment.

Key Responsibilities
Teaching & Academic Delivery

Deliver engaging and effective IELTS and PTE preparation classes.
Design lesson plans aligned with IELTS and PTE examination requirements.
Provide targeted instruction across all exam modules (Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking).
Maintain a positive, motivating, and student-centered classroom environment.

Academic Management & Student Support

Develop, administer, and evaluate mock tests and practice assessments.
Monitor student performance, track progress, and provide constructive feedback.
Conduct regular follow-ups with students to ensure academic improvement and course completion.
Maintain academic discipline and uphold institutional teaching standards.

Leadership & Administration

Oversee academic planning and quality control of teaching methodologies.
Support and guide instructors (if applicable) to maintain consistent academic delivery.
Contribute to academic reporting, student evaluations, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Job Specification

Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
Minimum 1–2 years of experience teaching IELTS and/or PTE.
Strong proficiency in English language teaching and TEFL methodologies.
In-depth knowledge of IELTS and PTE exam formats and scoring criteria.
Excellent lesson planning, classroom management, and instructional skills.
Strong communication, organizational, and leadership abilities.
Prior experience as an Academic Head or in a similar leadership role is an advantage.
