Job Description

Repa Retreat Wellness Center, located in Pharping, is looking for an experienced, responsible, and dedicated Executive Director / Manager to lead the overall operations and development of the wellness center.

The center offers Ayurvedic treatments, spa and massage services, singing-bowl healing, residential wellness programs, and specialized Ayurvedic dining. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, maintaining high standards of guest service, managing staff, developing business opportunities, and contributing to the overall growth and reputation of the center.

The ideal candidate should have prior experience managing a wellness center, Ayurvedic retreat, spa, resort, hotel, or similar hospitality facility and possess strong leadership, operational, and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the overall day-to-day operations of the wellness and retreat center.
  • Develop and implement operational strategies to improve service quality, guest satisfaction, and business performance.
  • Manage and supervise staff, including Ayurvedic therapists, spa personnel, hospitality, and support teams.
  • Ensure high standards of guest care, hospitality, cleanliness, safety, and professionalism.
  • Coordinate residential wellness programs, including week-long and month-long guest stays.
  • Manage guest bookings, check-ins, check-outs, treatment schedules, and special requirements.
  • Coordinate with Ayurvedic therapists and wellness practitioners to ensure smooth delivery of treatments and programs.
  • Oversee spa, massage, steam chamber, singing-bowl healing, accommodation, kitchen, and dining operations.
  • Monitor inventory, procurement, maintenance, and operational expenses.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with guests, partners, suppliers, wellness professionals, and other stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities for business development, marketing, partnerships, and increasing occupancy and revenue.
  • Handle guest feedback, complaints, and operational issues professionally and promptly.
  • Prepare operational reports, budgets, and performance updates for management.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant health, safety, hospitality, and operational standards.
  • Promote a positive, professional, and service-oriented work culture within the organization.
Job Specification
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Hospitality Management, Business Management, Wellness Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in a managerial or leadership position in a wellness center, Ayurvedic retreat, spa, resort, hotel, or similar facility.
  • Strong leadership, team management, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good understanding of hospitality and guest relationship management.
  • Experience in managing residential wellness or retreat programs will be an advantage.
  • Knowledge of Ayurveda, wellness, spa, or holistic health services will be an added advantage.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple departments and responsibilities effectively.
