Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Odoo Developer who can lead the development team and understand business logic to deliver efficient Odoo solutions across multiple business functions.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Leadership & Development
- Lead and mentor a team of Odoo developers
- Design, develop, and implement custom Odoo modules
- Oversee full lifecycle of Odoo implementations
- Ensure integration with third-party systems
Business & Functional Understanding
- Understand business processes and translate them into Odoo solutions
- Work with stakeholders to gather and refine requirements
Odoo Functional Expertise
- Customize and manage modules: Finance, Sales, Purchase, CRM, HR & Payroll, Dashboards
- Optimize workflows and automate processes
Project & Delivery Management
- Ensure timely delivery of customization tasks
- Monitor progress and resolve issues
- Maintain proper documentation
System Performance & Support
- Ensure system performance and security
- Troubleshoot issues and provide ongoing support
Job Specification
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or related field
Experience:
- Minimum 6 years of experience in Odoo development
- Experience working with Odoo v14–v18 (preferably v18)
- Proven experience in leading a development team
Technical Skills:
- Strong proficiency in Python, PostgreSQL, XML, JavaScript
- Experience in custom module development and Odoo customization
- Knowledge of Odoo.sh and deployment processes
- Experience with API integrations and third-party systems
Functional Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of business processes across:
- Finance / Accounting
- Sales
- Purchase
- CRM
- HR & Payroll
- Ability to understand business logic and translate it into technical solutions
Soft Skills & Competencies:
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking
- Effective communication and stakeholder management
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in ERP implementation projects
- Odoo certification (preferred but not mandatory)
