Job Description
The Field Marketing Officer is responsible for promoting Doorman Hardware products in the market by visiting hardware shops, dealers, and project sites. The role focuses on brand visibility, dealer relationship building, product promotion, market feedback collection, and supporting sales growth through on-ground activities.
Market Visit & Promotion
Conduct regular field visits to hardware stores, dealers, distributors, and project sites
Promote Doorman Hardware products and explain product features, quality, and benefits
Demonstrate products when required and support dealers in product display
Dealer & Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with hardware shop owners, dealers, and contractors
Assist in onboarding new dealers and expanding market coverage
Address basic dealer queries and coordinate with the sales team for order support
Branding & Visibility
Ensure proper branding and product placement at retail outlets
Support marketing campaigns, schemes, and promotional activities in the field
Monitor competitor products, pricing, and activities
Market Feedback & Reporting
Collect market feedback regarding product demand, pricing, and competition
Submit daily/weekly field visit reports to the reporting manager
Share customer and dealer insights to help improve sales strategies
Coordination & Support
Coordinate with sales, warehouse, and accounts teams when required
Support recovery follow-ups and basic after-sales coordination
Perform other field-related tasks assigned by management
Job Specification
+2 / Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
Experience
Minimum 1–2 years of field marketing or sales experience
Experience in hardware, building materials, sanitary, or construction products will be a strong advantage
Skills & Competencies
Good communication and convincing skills
Strong relationship-building ability
Basic knowledge of hardware products (locks, fittings, accessories preferred)
Ability to work independently in the field
Basic reporting and mobile app usage skills
Other Requirements
Must be willing to travel extensively in assigned areas
Two-wheeler with a valid driving license preferred
Honest, energetic, and target-oriented
