Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Warehouse Manager to lead and oversee warehouse operations at our central facility in Jorpati, as well as coordinate with multiple branch warehouses. This role demands a hands-on professional who can manage end-to-end logistics, enforce process discipline, and ensure operational excellence across the supply chain.
Key Responsibilities:
- Central Warehouse Oversight: Take full responsibility for daily operations at the Jorpati-based central warehouse
- End-to-End Operations: Manage scheduling, unloading, dispatching, inventory control, and warehouse safety procedures
- Branch Coordination: Ensure smooth communication and logistics alignment with branch warehouses across various locations
- Stock Management: Maintain accurate stock levels and conduct regular reconciliations to prevent discrepancies
- Process Optimization: Introduce and implement efficient processes to enhance warehouse productivity and reduce operational delays
- Reporting: Prepare and submit regular reports on stock status, dispatch schedules, and warehouse performance to management
- Team Leadership: Supervise warehouse staff, assign tasks, and ensure high standards of discipline and efficiency
Job Specification
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred)
- 1–4 years of proven experience in warehouse/logistics management
- Prior experience in a supervisory or senior warehouse role is highly preferred
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of warehouse processes including dispatch, receiving, unloading, and inventory management
- Excellent coordination and communication skills to handle branch-level collaboration
- Proficiency in record-keeping and reporting
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems or inventory software is an added advantage
- Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities
- Organized, reliable, and detail-oriented with the ability to multitask under pressure
