Job Description
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Delivery & Admin Officer to manage daily logistics, deliveries, and basic administrative tasks. The role involves order pickup and delivery, route planning, inventory support, and coordination with internal teams and customers. The ideal candidate should ensure timely and safe delivery of goods, maintain accurate records, and provide excellent customer service. A valid driving license and a 2-wheeler are mandatory.
Key Responsibilities
Logistics & Distribution
- Track shipments and coordinate with carriers and suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
- Plan transportation routes for efficient and cost-effective operations.
Order Fulfilment
- Pick up items from warehouses, stores, or restaurants.
- Verify items and ensure accuracy before dispatch.
Route Planning
- Use GPS and local knowledge to determine optimal delivery routes.
- Minimize delivery time and fuel consumption.
Safe Delivery
- Deliver goods safely and within the promised timeframe.
- Ensure products are in excellent condition upon delivery.
Operations & Compliance
- Maintain accurate delivery and operational records.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
Problem Solving
- Address delivery delays, inventory discrepancies, and route issues efficiently.
Communication
- Coordinate between warehouse, procurement, and customers.
- Act as a central point of communication for delivery-related updates.
Inventory & Warehousing
- Assist in managing inventory systems and stock levels.
- Support receiving, storage, and order dispatch processes.
Customer Interaction
- Deliver packages and obtain proof of delivery (e.g., signatures).
- Handle cash or digital payments when required.
Vehicle Maintenance
- Perform basic checks (fuel, tires, cleanliness).
- Report any maintenance or mechanical issues promptly.
Quality Check & Merchandise Management
- Conduct quality checks to ensure products meet required standards.
- Organize, sort, and rotate inventory.
- Assist with in-store displays and promotions.
Additional Duties
- Support stock counts and inventory management.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Assist with store opening/closing when required.
- Follow all company policies and procedures.
Job Specification
- Valid driving license and own 2-wheeler (mandatory)
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational ability
- Basic knowledge of inventory and logistics operations
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Problem-solving mindset and reliability
Preferred Skills
