Store Sales Assistant (Female)

We are hiring a Store Sales Assistant (Female)for Hare Krishna Jewellers Pvt. Ltd. to support daily customer service and sales in a retail jewelry environment. The role is ideal for candidates with entry-level retail exposure and strong interest in customer-facing work, with the goal of increasing walk-in conversion and supporting store sales operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers, understand their needs, and recommend suitable jewelry products.
• Demonstrate product features (design, materials, and variants) accurately and confidently.
• Assist in billing, maintaining sales records, and ensuring correct transactions.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper display of jewelry counters to support an attractive store presentation.
• Handle basic stock assistance tasks, including arranging items and reporting stock discrepancies.
• Coordinate with senior staff for approvals on discounts, exchanges, and special requests.
• Provide after-sales support by guiding customers on basic care and exchange processes as per store policy.

• Minimum 6 months of relevant experience in retail sales or customer-facing roles.
• Preferably completed +2 or equivalent education in any stream.
• Experience working in a retail store environment with billing and customer handling.
• Good knowledge of store sales processes, including product presentation and basic sales reporting.
• Ability to learn product details quickly and explain differences between jewelry types.
• Familiarity with POS/billing basics (or willingness to learn within the first weeks).
• Professional appearance and comfort working in a customer-facing role, including standing for extended periods.

Nice to Have

• Prior experience in jewelry retail or trading stores.
• Knowledge of basic gold/jewelry terms (e.g., karat, purity, designs) from exposure or training.
• Experience handling customer inquiries for exchanges or product care.
