Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver orders to customers safely and on time as per the assigned schedule.
Verify delivery details such as address, contact number, and items before dispatch.
Collect payments (cash or digital) and issue receipts when required.
Handle products carefully to avoid damage during transportation.
Follow the assigned routes and use navigation tools for efficient delivery.
Maintain proper communication with customers regarding delivery status.
Ensure customer satisfaction by providing polite and professional service.
Return undelivered items and report reasons to the supervisor.
Maintain delivery records, including payments and completed orders.
Follow all traffic rules and ensure safe driving at all times.
Keep the delivery vehicle clean and in good condition.
Report any delays, accidents, or issues immediately to the management.
Assist in loading and unloading of goods when required.
Follow company policies, safety guidelines, and delivery procedures.
Job Specification
Minimum qualification: SEE/SLC or equivalent.
Prior experience in delivery, logistics, or courier service is preferred but not mandatory.
Valid driving license (two-wheeler/four-wheeler as required).
Good knowledge of local areas and routes for efficient delivery.
Ability to use smartphones, GPS, and delivery apps.
Basic communication skills to interact with customers politely.
Physically fit with the ability to handle long working hours.
Honest, reliable, and responsible in handling cash and goods.
Basic numerical skills for cash handling and record keeping.
Ability to manage time effectively and meet delivery deadlines.
Knowledge of traffic rules and safe driving practices.
Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
