Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented, analytical, and proactive Accountant to manage our financial operations while also overseeing administrative coordination and financial planning activities. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical knowledge in accounting, billing, and collection processes, along with excellent interdepartmental communication skills, especially for handling target customers and AMC processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounting & Financial Management
Prepare and maintain billing and financial records, including general ledger entries, accounts payable and receivable, and bank reconciliations.
Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing processes.
Assist in the preparation of financial statements in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with local and national regulations.
Collaborate with external auditors and provide necessary documentation and support during audits.
Maintain and improve internal controls and accounting processes.
Stay updated with the latest accounting standards, regulations, and industry best practices.
Billing, Collection & AMC Management
Manage billing cycles and ensure accurate invoicing.
Monitor receivables and follow up on collections.
Coordinate with Sales and Support teams regarding target customers.
Oversee and manage the AMC (Annual Maintenance Contract) process, including renewals and billing coordination.
Administrative & Interdepartmental Coordination
Oversee finance-related administrative functions.
Ensure strong coordination between finance, sales, operations, and support departments.
Support other finance-related tasks and strategic projects as required by management.
Maintain professional communication with clients regarding payments and financial matters.
Job Specification
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field (master’s preferred).
Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting experience (Software/IT industry preferred).
Strong analytical knowledge of accounting principles, billing systems, and collection management.
Proficiency in accounting software and advanced MS Excel skills.
Strong interdepartmental coordination and communication skills.
Ability to handle multiple responsibilities with accuracy and confidentiality.
Knowledge of taxation and regulatory compliance requirements.
