Job Description
DV Group Of Companies is looking for a Recovery Officer to manage debt recovery and collections operations. The role involves tracking overdue accounts, coordinating with clients/customers for repayment, and ensuring recovery activities comply with relevant laws and internal policies.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor and manage assigned accounts for overdue payments and outstanding recoveries
Contact defaulting clients/customers through calls, visits, and written communication to negotiate repayment
Prepare and maintain recovery reports, records, and documentation for each case
Coordinate with legal/credit teams on cases requiring further action
Ensure recovery practices comply with applicable laws, regulations, and company policy
Analyze recovery trends and provide regular status updates to management
Maintain accurate records in Excel/Word and generate periodic reports
Job Specification
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, or Accounting
5 years of experience in recovery, collections, banking, finance, or credit control (experience level based on seniority of the role)
Sound knowledge of debt recovery procedures and relevant laws/regulations
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and basic reporting skills
Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet recovery targets
