The MRF Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily operations of the Material Recovery Facility, ensuring proper sorting, handling, and storage of recyclable materials such as PET bottles. The role involves supervising workers, maintaining operational efficiency, ensuring safety compliance, and coordinating with management for smooth facility operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Management:
- Supervise daily operations of the Material Recovery Facility (MRF).
- Ensure proper sorting, segregation, and processing of recyclable materials.
- Monitor the quality of materials (White, Green, and Mixed PET bottles).
- Ensure efficient handling, bundling, and storage of processed materials.
- Coordinate loading and unloading of incoming and outgoing materials.
- Maintain daily production and material processing records.
Workforce Supervision:
- Supervise workers and sorting staff on daily tasks.
- Assign work duties and monitor staff productivity.
- Maintain worker attendance and daily workforce records.
- Ensure discipline, teamwork, and safe working practices.
Inventory & Material Management:
- Monitor incoming raw material quantity and quality.
- Maintain records of stock, processed materials, and dispatch.
- Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams for material movement.
Safety & Compliance:
- Ensure workers follow safety procedures and use protective equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the facility.
- Report any incidents, damage, or operational issues to management.
Reporting & Coordination:
- Prepare daily and weekly operational reports.
- Coordinate with plant management regarding production targets.
- Assist in maintaining records required for audits or operational monitoring.
