IT and Digital Support Officer

We are seeking a proactive and technically capable IT and Digital Support Officer to support, maintain, and strengthen the organization’s digital systems and ongoing digital transformation initiatives.

This role focuses on practical implementation, system maintenance, automation support, data management, and day-to-day digital assistance across office, field, and processing operations.

Key Responsibilities
Digital Systems & IT Support

• Support and maintain digital transformation systems and tools used across the organization.
• Provide IT and digital support to staff, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
• Guide staff in the effective use of digital tools and platforms.
• Support safe and secure usage of digital systems, devices, and online platforms.

Data Management & Automation

• Manage and organize digital data, ensuring proper storage, structured filing, access control, backups, and long-term retrieval.
• Support automation of routine processes such as documentation, reporting, registrations, renewals, and internal tracking systems.
• Assist in digital data collection from field teams, farms, processing units, and office departments.
• Prepare dashboards, reports, and structured information for administrative and management decision-making.

Digital Content & Design Support

• Assist with basic digital design tasks including layouts, presentations, forms, visual materials, and internal communication content.
• Support documentation and formatting of organizational reports and materials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  OR
• Equivalent practical experience in IT and digital support roles.

Required Skills & Experience

• Practical experience working with IT systems and digital tools.
• Experience with cloud-based platforms such as Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace.
• Basic understanding of data management principles, digital workflows, and automation tools.
• Familiarity with basic design tools for creating layouts and visual materials.
• Ability to work collaboratively with non-technical staff and support multiple departments.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive and adaptable mindset.
