Job Description

City Aged Care Training & Research Centre is seeking a motivated and experienced: Admission & Student Counsellor to provide guidance and support to prospective and enrolled students. The candidate will be responsible for handling student inquiries, counselling students about available training programs, managing follow-ups, supporting the enrollment process, and maintaining strong relationships with students.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide professional counselling and guidance to prospective students regarding available courses and training programs.
  • Handle inquiries received through phone calls, social media, emails, walk-ins, and other communication channels.
  • Understand students’ educational and career goals and recommend suitable training programs.
  • Follow up with prospective students and convert inquiries into successful enrollments.
  • Guide students through the admission and enrollment process, including required documentation and course-related information.
  • Maintain accurate records of student inquiries, counselling sessions, follow-ups, and enrollment status.
  • Coordinate with the academic and administrative teams to ensure a smooth student enrollment and onboarding process.
  • Address student queries and concerns professionally and provide timely support.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with prospective and enrolled students.
  • Achieve assigned enrollment and counselling targets.
  • Prepare regular reports on inquiries, follow-ups, conversions, and enrollments.
  • Participate in promotional activities, events, seminars, or student engagement programs when required.
Job Specification
  • Bachelor’s degree in education, Management, Public Health, Healthcare, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2–3 years of relevant experience in counselling, student admissions, customer service, sales, or a training/educational institution.
  • Experience in student counselling and enrollment will be highly preferred.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and convincing skills.
  • Strong follow-up and relationship management abilities.
  • Ability to understand students' needs and provide appropriate guidance.
  • Good organizational, documentation, and reporting skills.
  • Basic knowledge of MS Office and CRM or student management systems will be an advantage.
  • Ability to work in a target-oriented environment.
  • Interest or knowledge in healthcare, aged care, or related training programs will be an added advantage.
