Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Chartered Accountant to join our team and contribute to the financial accuracy, compliance, and strategic decision-making of the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting & Compliance
- Prepare, review, and finalize financial statements as per applicable accounting standards.
- Ensure statutory compliance with tax laws, VAT, Income Tax, and other regulatory requirements.
- Manage external audits, coordinate with auditors, and ensure timely completion.
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation for audits and compliance.
Budgeting & Financial Planning
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
- Monitor budget variance and prepare MIS reports for management decision-making.
- Analyze financial data to provide insights, recommendations, and performance indicators.
Taxation & Regulatory Management
- Handle corporate tax planning, return filings, and tax assessments.
- Ensure compliance with VAT, TDS, excise duties, and all statutory filings.
- Liaise with regulatory authorities, government bodies, and financial institutions.
Internal Controls & Process Improvement
- Develop and implement internal control systems to mitigate financial risks.
- Review financial processes and suggest improvements for efficiency and accuracy.
- Oversee cost control measures and financial discipline across departments.
Cash Flow & Treasury Management
- Monitor cash flow, banking operations, and fund management.
- Manage relationships with banks and financial partners.
- Prepare weekly/monthly cash flow projections to support business planning.
Team Coordination & Leadership
- Provide guidance and support to finance and accounts team members.
- Collaborate with management and cross-functional teams to support strategic initiatives.
Job Specification
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with valid certification.
- Minimum 2–5 years of post-qualification experience (manufacturing, trading, or group company experience preferred).
- Strong expertise in accounting standards, taxation, financial reporting, and compliance.
- Excellent analytical skills with proficiency in accounting software (Tally ERP, SAP, or similar).
- Ability to handle multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work under pressure.
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
