We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting business data to generate actionable insights that support strategic decision-making. This role requires strong expertise in data visualization, reporting, and performance analysis, with a particular focus on developing interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, analyze, and interpret data from various business sources to support operational and strategic initiatives.
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Power BI.
- Monitor and analyze key business performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular performance updates.
- Prepare comprehensive management reports, presentations, and data-driven recommendations.
- Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for business improvement through data analysis.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across reporting systems and databases.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand reporting requirements and deliver meaningful insights.
- Support business planning, forecasting, and decision-making through analytical findings.
- Automate reporting processes and improve data management efficiency where possible.
- Maintain documentation of reports, data sources, and analytical methodologies.
Job Specification
- Bachelor's degree in data science, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Management, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- Proven experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a similar role.
- Mandatory proficiency in Power BI, including dashboard development and data visualization.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, Power Query, advanced formulas, and data analysis techniques.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
- Experience working with large datasets and multiple data sources.
- Knowledge of SQL and database management will be an added advantage.
- Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with business intelligence and reporting tools.
- Knowledge of data modeling and data visualization best practices.
- Understanding of KPI development and performance measurement frameworks.
