Job Description

Job Purpose:

The Australia Counselor is responsible for providing end-to-end guidance to students aspiring to study in Australia, ensuring successful application, admission, and visa processing while maintaining high conversion rates and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive counseling to students for studying in Australia (course, university, and career guidance)
  • Assess student profiles and recommend suitable institutions and programs
  • Manage the complete application process including documentation, SOP/GTE/GS preparation, and submission
  • Guide students through visa processes, financial documentation, and interview preparation
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Australian education systems, immigration policies, and compliance requirements
  • Coordinate with universities, partners, and internal teams for smooth processing
  • Maintain accurate records in CRM and ensure timely follow-ups for conversions
  • Achieve monthly/quarterly targets related to student enrollment and conversions
  • Participate in seminars, webinars, and promotional events
Job Specification

Educational Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (Master’s preferred) in relevant field

Experience:

  • Minimum 3–4 years of experience in Australia counseling/admissions
  • Proven track record in student conversions and visa success

Required Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of Australian universities, courses, and admission processes
  • Expertise in SOP/GTE/GS preparation, offer letter & COE processing
  • Sound understanding of visa documentation and financial assessment
  • Excellent communication, counseling, and client-handling skills
  • Strong sales orientation with target-driven mindset
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple applications
  • CRM handling experience is preferred
