Job Description
The Civil Supervisor is responsible for supervising and coordinating daily civil construction activities at the project site. The role ensures that construction work is executed according to approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and project schedules. The position involves managing site teams, monitoring progress, and coordinating with engineers, contractors, and workers.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and monitor daily civil construction activities at the project site.
Ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and construction standards.
Coordinate with Site Engineers, contractors, and workers for smooth project execution.
Monitor manpower, materials, equipment, and site resources effectively.
Check quality of civil works including concrete, masonry, excavation, finishing, and other related activities.
Ensure proper implementation of safety procedures and site regulations.
Review project progress and report updates, delays, and issues to management.
Assist in site measurements, quantity verification, and work inspections.
Maintain daily site records, work reports, and documentation.
Coordinate material requirements and ensure timely availability at site.
Identify construction issues and support in resolving technical problems.
Ensure compliance with project timelines and quality standards.
Job Specification
Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification.
Minimum 2–5 years of experience in civil construction/site supervision (preferred).
Good knowledge of construction methods, materials, and site procedures.
Ability to read and interpret civil drawings and specifications.
Basic knowledge of quality control and safety practices.
Ability to manage site workers and coordinate with different teams.
Good communication and reporting skills.
