The Finance Manager will lead and oversee all financial operations of the company, including financial planning, accounting, taxation, compliance, budgeting, and cash flow management. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical capabilities, leadership skills, and in-depth knowledge of Nepalese financial regulations and taxation.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Management
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Monitor and manage company cash flow and working capital.
- Develop and implement financial strategies to support business growth.
- Conduct financial forecasting and budgeting.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management.
Accounting & Reporting
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations.
- Ensure accurate maintenance of accounting records and documentation.
- Review ledger entries, reconciliations, and financial reports.
- Ensure timely closing of monthly and annual accounts.
Taxation & Compliance
- Manage VAT, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory requirements.
- Ensure compliance with Nepal Financial Reporting Standards (NFRS).
- Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities.
- Ensure timely filing of tax returns and statutory reports.
Budgeting & Cost Control
- Prepare and monitor annual budgets.
- Analyze costs and identify areas for optimization.
- Develop and implement financial controls and risk management systems.
Team Leadership
- Supervise, guide, and mentor finance and accounting team members.
- Coordinate with other departments on financial matters.
- Ensure effective implementation of financial policies and procedures.
