Housekeeping Associate

We are looking for a responsible, detail-oriented, and service-focused Housekeeping Associate to maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation standards throughout Vedic Life Yoga Resort and Retreat. The ideal candidate should ensure guest rooms and common areas are clean, comfortable, and well-maintained.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain guest rooms, bathrooms, public areas, and other assigned spaces.
• Make beds, change linens, replace towels, and replenish room amenities.
• Ensure guest rooms are properly arranged and maintained according to resort standards.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, floors, furniture, and other surfaces.
• Report maintenance issues, damages, or missing items to the concerned department.
• Maintain proper inventory of housekeeping supplies and amenities.
• Handle cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and appropriately.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness of common areas, corridors, dining areas, and wellness spaces.
• Follow proper hygiene, sanitation, and housekeeping procedures.
• Respond politely to guest requests and provide assistance when required.
• Maintain confidentiality and respect guest privacy.
• Support the housekeeping team during high-occupancy periods and special events.

• Diploma in Hospitality or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in housekeeping. and Locals are preferred
• Previous experience in a hotel, resort, guesthouse, or hospitality environment preferred.
• Good understanding of housekeeping and hygiene standards.
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physically fit and capable of performing housekeeping duties.
• Responsible, disciplined, and hardworking attitude.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a resort, retreat, hotel, or wellness property.
• Knowledge of professional cleaning procedures and housekeeping equipment.
• Basic knowledge of guest service standards.
