We proudly field competitive teams in all local tournaments and run a thriving, year-round football academy dedicated to nurturing young talent from ages 6 to 19. Our mission is to develop skilled players, build character, and foster a lifelong love for the beautiful game.
The Role:
We are seeking a passionate, organized, and driven Manager to oversee the entire operations of Thunderbolts Football Club and its Academy. This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the club, the strategic growth of our academy, and the overall health and development of our football community.
Key Responsibilities:
Academy Management (Ages 6-19):
- Oversee the daily operations of the academy, which runs 5 days a week, year-round.
- Ensure high-quality, consistent coaching and a positive, developmental environment for all young players.
- Act as the primary point of contact for parents, providing regular updates on player progress, schedules, and club communications.
- Handle parent inquiries, feedback, and manage relationships to ensure high satisfaction and retention.
Club Operations:
- Manage all administrative and logistical aspects of the club’s participation in local tournaments.
- Coordinate the year-round training schedule for all club teams.
- Source and manage all procurements for both the club and academy—including equipment, kit, training gear, and other essentials—ensuring timely delivery and within budget.
Growth & Development:
- Develop and implement strategies for the growth of the club and academy, including player recruitment, retention, and program expansion.
- Work to enhance the club’s reputation and presence within the local community.
- Identify opportunities for improvement in coaching, facilities, and overall player experience.
Administration & Leadership:
- Manage budgets, registrations, and compliance with local football association regulations.
- Lead and support coaching staff, fostering a culture of professionalism and continuous improvement.
- Solve problems proactively and ensure all activities run smoothly and safely.
