Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Manual QA Tester to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for testing web and mobile applications, identifying defects, and ensuring high-quality product delivery. This role requires a basic understanding of testing methodologies and strong attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
Understand project requirements, business flows, and functional specifications
Design, write, review, and execute test cases and test scenarios
Perform manual testing including functional, regression, UI, and smoke testing
Identify, document, and track bugs using appropriate tools
Collaborate closely with developers and team members to resolve issues
Re-test resolved defects and ensure proper closure
Maintain test documentation, reports, and testing records
Assist in improving testing processes, standards, and best practices
Job Specification
Basic understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)
Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
Familiarity with test case design and bug reporting
Basic knowledge of tools like Jira, Trello, or similar tracking tools
Understanding of web and mobile application testing
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail
Basic knowledge of databases (SQL is an advantage)
Good communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or a related field
Internship or prior experience in QA/testing
Exposure to API testing tools (e.g., Postman) is an added advantage

Eagerness to learn and grow in the QA domain
Ability to work independently and in a team
Strong sense of ownership and accountability
Good time management skills
