Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Conduct Live Classes
Deliver 2 interactive live classes daily (1 hour each), 5 days a week
Lead 1 daily practice session with speaking topics and guided participation
Engage students through activities, real-life conversations, and practical exercises
Assignments & Feedback
Provide daily speaking and/or grammar assignments
Review student submissions and provide personalized feedback within 2 hours
Track Student Progress
Monitor student improvement through regular and weekly evaluations
Guide and motivate learners to achieve fluency goals
Maintain accurate attendance and performance records using Google Sheets
Community Engagement
Foster a positive, respectful, and supportive learning environment
Respond to student queries promptly within community platforms/groups
Program Development
Suggest innovative teaching methods and interactive activities
Contribute to improving course quality and student outcomes
Support the growth and reputation of Spoken English Nepal through student success
Class Timings:
• 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM
• 8:30 PM – 9:30 PM
Daily Practice Session:
• Choose one:
• 8:00 AM – 9:00 AM
• 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM
• Timing can be adjusted by up to ±1 hour from the selected slot
Job Specification
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or related field (preferred but not mandatory)
Experience
- Prior teaching or training experience is preferred but not required
- Experience in online teaching platforms will be an advantage
Knowledge & Skills
- Excellent command of spoken and written English
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to engage and motivate learners effectively
- Good understanding of grammar, pronunciation, and conversational English
Technical Skills
- Comfortable using Zoom / Google Meet
- Proficiency in Google Docs, Sheets, and Drive
- Basic digital communication and classroom management tools
