School of Environmental Science and Management (SchEMS) is looking for a dynamic, self-motivated, articulate, and presentable female professional to join our team as a Student Counselor & Marketing Assistant.

The candidate will be responsible for counseling prospective students and parents, managing admission leads, supporting lead conversion, assisting with marketing activities, and participating in digital content creation. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a confident personality, and the ability to effectively engage with students and convert inquiries into admissions.

Key Responsibilities

Student Counseling & Admissions

  • Counsel prospective students and parents regarding Bachelor's and Master's programs offered by SchEMS.
  • Provide accurate information about programs, eligibility criteria, admission procedures, fees, facilities, and academic opportunities.
  • Conduct walk-in counseling sessions and assist students in selecting suitable academic programs.
  • Follow up with prospective students throughout the admission process.

Lead Management & Conversion

  • Manage and respond to student leads received through digital platforms, phone calls, events, and direct inquiries.
  • Conduct outbound calls and follow-ups to engage prospective students and encourage enrollment.
  • Understand student requirements, address concerns, and handle objections professionally.
  • Maintain accurate records of leads, follow-ups, and admission status in the admissions database.
  • Work toward achieving admission and lead-conversion targets.

Marketing & Content Support

  • Assist the marketing team in planning and executing promotional campaigns for academic intakes and college events.
  • Participate in and assist with creating short-form content such as reels, campus tours, student testimonials, and promotional videos.
  • Comfortably appear in front of the camera and represent the institution professionally when required.
  • Assist in preparing and distributing promotional and marketing materials.

Events & Promotional Activities

  • Assist in organizing seminars, orientations, education fairs, workshops, and other promotional events.
  • Coordinate with students, parents, staff, and external stakeholders during events.
  • Support on-campus and off-campus promotional activities as required.
Job Specification
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Communication, Environmental Science, Humanities, or a related field.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Nepali and English.
  • Strong counseling, interpersonal, negotiation, and persuasion skills.
  • Confident, presentable, energetic, and comfortable interacting with students and parents.
  • Basic understanding of social media platforms and digital marketing.
  • Comfortable appearing in and shooting short-form video content.
  • Good organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple leads and follow-ups.
  • Target-oriented, self-motivated, adaptable, and accountable.
  • Prior experience in student counseling, admissions, sales, telecalling, marketing, or education consultancy will be an advantage.

Working Conditions

  • Working Days: Sunday to Friday
  • Working Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • During peak admission periods, events, or important campaigns, candidates may be required to work beyond standard hours when necessary.
