Job Description
The Librarian will supports daily library operations by organizing resources, assisting users, and maintaining records of issued and returned materials. The role also includes basic cataloging, coordinating academic resources, and ensuring a well-managed, student-friendly environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage daily library operations efficiently.
Organize and maintain books, journals, and digital resources.
Assist students and faculty in accessing academic materials.
Handle book issuing and returns with accurate record-keeping.
Ensure proper cataloging and classification of resources.
Maintain a disciplined, organized, and student-friendly environment.
Coordinate with departments to fulfill academic resource needs.
Manage digital library systems and maintain inventory records.
Job Specification
Bachelor’s Degree (preferred in Library Science, Management, or Education).
Minimum 1 year of relevant experience.
Strong organizational and documentation skills.
Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
Basic computer knowledge (MS Office).
Professional, reliable, and able to multitask effectively.
