Job Description

Job Summary:

The Receptionist will serve as the first point of contact for visitors and clients. The role requires excellent communication skills, strong knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel, and the ability to handle customer inquiries professionally. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in recruitment agencies or consultancy firms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner.

  • Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls.

  • Handle client inquiries and provide accurate information.

  • Maintain visitor logs and manage appointment schedules.

  • Prepare and format documents using MS Word.

  • Maintain records and basic reports using MS Excel.

  • Assist HR/Admin department in documentation and coordination.

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area.

  • Handle courier, emails, and other correspondence.

  • Provide excellent customer care and ensure positive client experience.

Job Specification

Academic Qualification:

  • +2 (Intermediate) passed or equivalent.

Experience:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role preferred.

  • Experience in recruitment agency or consultancy will be an added advantage.

Technical Skills:

  • Fluent in MS Word and MS Excel.

  • Basic knowledge of office equipment (printer, scanner, etc.).

Language Skills:

  • Good command of English (both written and spoken).

  • Clear and professional communication skills.

Personal Attributes:

  • Strong customer care orientation.

  • Presentable and professional appearance.

  • Polite, friendly, and well-mannered.

  • Good organizational and multitasking ability.

  • Ability to work under pressure.
