English Teacher

Pragya Sadan Secondary School is seeking a qualified, motivated, and dedicated English Teacher to join our academic team. The selected candidate will be responsible for delivering effective English language instruction to students of Grades 6–8, supporting their academic development, and maintaining a positive and engaging classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver effective English lessons for Grades 6–8.
• Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, assignments, and classroom activities.
• Teach English grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension skills.
• Assess students’ academic progress through classwork, assignments, tests, and examinations.
• Provide constructive feedback and additional academic support where required.
• Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive learning environment.
• Encourage students to actively participate in classroom discussions and activities.
• Maintain necessary academic records and documentation.
• Coordinate with fellow teachers and school management regarding students’ academic progress.
• Participate in school programs, meetings, examinations, and other academic activities as required.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in English or a related field.
• Major in English is preferred.
• Strong command of written and spoken English.
• Good classroom management and communication skills.
• Ability to engage and motivate students effectively.
• Self-motivated, responsible, and committed to teaching.
• Prior teaching experience will be an advantage.
