Job Description
Nepalese Computer Solutions is seeking a skilled and reliable Computer Technician to install, maintain, and troubleshoot computer systems, hardware, and network infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in hardware installation, system configuration, and providing technical support to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble and configure desktop computers, laptops, and related hardware components
- Install, upgrade, and replace internal hardware such as RAM, SSD/HDD, motherboard, and SMPS
- Install operating systems, drivers, and required software applications
- Diagnose and repair issues related to desktops, laptops, and printers
- Set up and troubleshoot LAN, Wi-Fi, routers, switches, and basic networking systems
- Configure network sharing, internet connectivity, and office device connections
- Install and provide support for CCTV systems, routers, and attendance devices
- Deliver on-site technical support and maintenance services to clients
- Perform routine servicing and preventive maintenance of computer systems
- Assist customers with hardware and network-related troubleshooting and support
Job Specification
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware and components
- Basic to intermediate understanding of networking (LAN/Wi-Fi setup and troubleshooting)
- Familiarity with operating systems (Windows/Linux) and software installation
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and handle field visits
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Time management and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
- Diploma or certification in Computer Hardware, Networking, or IT-related field
- Prior experience in a similar role will be an advantage
