Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Indian / Korean / Chinese Cook who can prepare high-quality dishes while maintaining excellent standards of taste, presentation, hygiene, and food safety. The selected candidate will be responsible for day-to-day food preparation and kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook a variety of Indian, Korean, and Chinese dishes according to established recipes and quality standards.
  • Ensure consistency in taste, portion size, quality, and presentation.
  • Handle ingredient preparation, including cutting, chopping, marinating, seasoning, and other pre-cooking activities.
  • Apply appropriate cooking techniques for different cuisines and dishes.
  • Maintain the freshness and quality of food ingredients.
  • Ensure proper storage, handling, and preservation of food items.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen, utensils, equipment, and workstations.
  • Follow food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
  • Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and service of orders.
  • Monitor kitchen inventory and inform management about required ingredients and supplies.
  • Minimize food wastage through proper portion control and efficient ingredient utilization.
  • Maintain consistency in food quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Assist in developing new dishes or improving existing menu items when required.
  • Ensure kitchen equipment is properly operated, cleaned, and maintained.
  • Perform other duties related to kitchen operations as assigned by management.
Job Specification
  • Proven experience as a Cook/Chef specializing in Indian, Korean, Chinese, or multiple cuisines.
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, ingredients, spices, sauces, and seasonings.
  • Ability to consistently prepare high-quality dishes.
  • Knowledge of food hygiene, safety, and sanitation practices.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Good teamwork and communication skills.
  • Strong sense of responsibility and cleanliness.
  • Physically fit and capable of working extended hours when required.
  • Experience in a restaurant, hotel, café, or commercial kitchen will be preferred.
