Job Description
Hotel Mirage Regency is looking for a skilled and passionate Head Chef to lead kitchen operations and ensure exceptional food quality and guest satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership abilities, expertise in multi-cuisine preparation, and experience managing kitchen teams efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee all kitchen operations and daily food production.
- Plan, develop, and update menus and recipes.
- Ensure consistency in food quality, taste, presentation, and portion control.
- Supervise, train, and motivate kitchen staff.
- Monitor inventory, purchasing, and stock management.
- Control food costs and minimize wastage.
- Maintain food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
- Coordinate with management and service teams to enhance guest experiences.
- Handle customer feedback and implement improvements in kitchen operations.
Job Specification
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a Head Chef, Executive Chef, or Senior Sous Chef role within hotels or restaurants.
- Strong knowledge of Indian, Continental and multi-cuisine food preparation.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and efficiently manage kitchen operations.
- Sound knowledge of food costing, inventory management, and kitchen budgeting.
- Familiarity with food safety and hygiene regulations.
Qualification
- Diploma or certification in Culinary Arts, Hotel Management, or a related field is preferred.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: NPR 60,000 per month, negotiable based on skill and experience
