Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Stock Controller to manage and monitor inventory levels, stock movements, and stock accuracy across our retail operations. The ideal candidate should have relevant experience in FMCG/retail inventory management and strong attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor daily stock levels and maintain accurate inventory records.
Track stock receiving, transfers, sales, returns, damages, and adjustments.
Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile variances.
Identify stock discrepancies, shortages, excess stock, and expiry issues.
Coordinate with stores, warehouse, purchase, and accounts teams for stock-related matters.
Ensure proper stock documentation and system updates.
Monitor fast-moving, slow-moving, and non-moving items.
Support regular stock audits and investigate inventory variances.
Ensure proper storage, product identification, and stock rotation.
Prepare daily/weekly/monthly inventory and stock reports.
Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with company inventory procedures.
Perform other inventory-related duties assigned by management.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Intermediate or Bachelor’s Degree in Management, Business, or a related field.
Minimum 2+ years of relevant experience in stock control, inventory, warehouse, FMCG, supermarket, or retail sector.
Strong knowledge of inventory and stock management.
Good numerical, analytical, and reporting skills.
Proficiency in MS Excel and basic computer applications.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Must have a valid two-wheeler driving license and own a two-wheeler.
