Job Description

The UK Education Counsellor will be responsible for providing professional guidance and support to students seeking educational opportunities in the United Kingdom. The role involves understanding each student’s academic goals, assisting with university selection, application processes, visa documentation, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge about UK institutions, courses, and immigration policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Counsel students regarding study options in the UK, including courses, universities, and admission requirements.
  • Assist students throughout the application and visa process.
  • Maintain strong communication with UK institutions and relevant partners.
  • Conduct information sessions, follow-ups, and regular meetings with prospective students.
  • Ensure timely updates and accurate records of student files and progress.
  • Provide pre-departure guidance and support.
  • Meet individual and team targets as set by management.
Job Specification
  • Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline (preferably Management, Education, or related field).
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as an education counselor (UK counseling experience preferred).
  • In-depth knowledge of UK education systems, institutions, and visa procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong command of English (spoken and written).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Pleasant personality with a professional attitude.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certification in UK counseling or training from British Council.
  • Experience with student management systems (SMS/CRM).
