Job Description
- Assist clients in obtaining visas, permanent residency, citizenship, and work permits
- Prepare, review, and submit immigration petitions, applications, and legal documents
- Provide accurate legal advice on immigration laws, regulations, and policies
- Represent the company at the Department of Foreign Employment and other government offices in Nepal
- Conduct legal research on statutes, case laws, and legal precedents
- Liaise and negotiate with government authorities and regulatory agencies
- Collaborate with internal teams, legal professionals, and external agencies
- Stay updated with changes in immigration laws and policies
Job Specification
- LL. B or LL.M degree from a recognized university
- Must hold a valid Bar License
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of professional legal experience, preferably in immigration or consultancy services. (No trainee, No Intern)
Professional Skills Required
- Strong knowledge of immigration laws and procedures of Nepal and foreign jurisdictions
- Excellent legal research, drafting, and documentation skills
- Strong negotiation, advocacy, and problem-solving abilities
- Fluency in English (written and verbal)
- Familiarity with legal software and case management systems
- Ability to manage multiple cases and work under pressure
- High level of professionalism, ethics, and attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and client management skills
- Experience working in a multicultural environment
