Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Japanese Relationship Manager to build and maintain strong relationships with Japanese companies, language schools, supervising organizations, cooperative associations, employers, educational institutions, and other business partners.
The ideal candidate will have strong Japanese language proficiency, excellent communication and documentation skills, and the ability to manage Japanese clients and organizations professionally. The candidate will serve as a key communication bridge between the organization and its Japanese partners while supporting business development, student admissions, overseas recruitment, documentation, and other Japan-related programs.
Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain strong relationships with Japanese companies, language schools, supervising organizations, cooperative associations, employers, and business partners.
Act as the primary communication bridge between Japanese organizations and the company through clear and professional communication in Japanese and English.
Identify new business opportunities and establish partnerships with Japanese employers, educational institutions, and industry organizations.
Negotiate business agreements, recruitment terms, MOUs, and service contracts with Japanese partners.
Coordinate student admissions, recruitment projects, and other Japan-related programs.
Ensure that all documentation submitted to Japanese organizations is accurate, complete, and compliant with required standards.
Coordinate interviews, online meetings, company visits, business presentations, seminars, and official visits.
Resolve client concerns professionally while maintaining strong, long-term business relationships.
Coordinate with immigration consultants, documentation officers, language instructors, and operations teams to ensure smooth project execution.
Maintain accurate records of client communication, agreements, recruitment progress, and project status.
Support visa documentation, Certificate of Eligibility (COE) processing, and employer compliance requirements where applicable.
Coordinate candidate selection, interview scheduling, offer management, and onboarding with Japanese employers.
Conduct regular follow-ups with existing Japanese clients to ensure satisfaction and identify future collaboration opportunities.
Support marketing and business development strategies aimed at Japanese partners and institutions.
Represent the organization at business meetings, exhibitions, seminars, and official visits in Nepal and Japan.
Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
Job Specification
Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in Japanese relations, education consultancy, overseas recruitment, business development, or a related field.
Minimum JLPT N3 certification; JLPT N2 or above will be an advantage.
Experience in Japan-related education consultancy or overseas recruitment.
Knowledge of student admissions, visa documentation, recruitment procedures, or COE processing.
Strong networking and business development skills.
Ability to build and maintain long-term professional relationships.
Strong Japanese and English communication skills.
Excellent documentation, coordination, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
Good knowledge of Japanese business culture and professional communication etiquette.
