Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and proactive System Engineer to design, implement, and maintain our organization’s IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will ensure system reliability, security, and performance while supporting business operations through efficient technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage network and system infrastructure including LAN/WAN and servers
- Monitor system performance to ensure high availability, reliability, and scalability
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, network, and system-related issues
- Collaborate with network, development, and security teams to optimize system operations
- Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, processes, and troubleshooting procedures
- Ensure compliance with IT policies, standards, and industry best practices
- Respond to system incidents and perform root cause analysis to prevent recurrence
Job Specification
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in Network/System Administration
- Strong understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, routing, switching, firewall)
- Hands-on experience in troubleshooting hardware, network, and system issues
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and implement technical solutions
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Relevant certifications such as CCNA, RHCE, or equivalent will be an added advantage
