Job Description

We are seeking a responsible and patient-focused Pharmacist to manage pharmacy operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide accurate dispensing and medication counselling services. The role requires strong knowledge of pharmaceutical practices, supply chain coordination, and patient care standards.

Freshers with strong academic knowledge and good communication skills are welcome to apply.

Key Responsibilities

 Dispensing & Patient Care

  • Accurately dispense medications as prescribed, including compounding, packaging, and labeling

  • Provide complete counselling to patients regarding dosage, side effects, storage, and precautions

  • Suggest appropriate interventions where required

  • Maintain respectful, empathetic, and professional patient interactions

  • Participate in clinical programs and staff training to enhance pharmacological awareness

 Inventory & Supply Chain Management

  • Manage ordering, storage, and safekeeping of medicines ensuring adequate stock levels

  • Handle procurement processes including PO creation, vendor coordination, rate negotiations, credit/debit notes

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers

  • Dispose of expired or damaged drugs responsibly as per SOPs

  • Maintain liquid stock levels and ensure temperature control & hygiene standards

 Compliance & Documentation

  • Maintain separate records for specified medicines as per state and central regulations

  • Ensure pharmacy registration / Drug License (DL) is renewed on time

  • Maintain inspection book with accurate entries for audits and quality checks

  • Update patient records, billing information, and generate required reports

  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulatory standards

Billing & Administration

  • Collect payments for pharmacy sales and deposit responsibly

  • Maintain accurate financial and stock documentation

  • Prepare audit reports as required by management

Safety & Emergency Preparedness

  • Maintain safety, hygiene, and required temperature standards in pharmacy

  • Participate in emergency drills (CPR / fire drills)

  • Report compliance concerns or operational issues to management

Job Specification

  • Strong knowledge of medicines, drug interactions, and pharmaceutical terminology

  • Understanding of procurement & supply chain best practices

  • Familiarity with medical information systems for documentation

  • Good communication and counselling skills

  • Ability to manage pressure and resolve conflicts calmly
