IELTS & PTE Instructor

Job Summary

Hub International Education Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a passionate and experienced IELTS & PTE Instructor to join our academic team in Kathmandu. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality IELTS and PTE preparation classes, helping students strengthen their English language skills, and guiding them toward achieving their target test scores. The role requires excellent teaching abilities, student-focused mentoring, and a commitment to delivering outstanding learning outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Teaching & Training

• Deliver engaging and effective IELTS and PTE preparation classes.
• Teach all four language skills: Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking.
• Prepare lesson plans, study materials, and classroom activities aligned with course objectives.
• Create a positive, interactive, and student-centered learning environment.

Student Assessment & Progress Monitoring

• Conduct regular class assessments, quizzes, and mock examinations.
• Evaluate students' performance and provide constructive feedback for improvement.
• Monitor individual student progress and recommend personalized learning strategies.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, performance, and assessment results.

Academic Support

• Guide students on IELTS and PTE test formats, scoring criteria, and examination strategies.
• Address students' academic concerns and provide continuous mentoring throughout the course.
• Support students in achieving their desired English proficiency scores.

Course Development

• Contribute to the development and improvement of teaching materials and course content.
• Stay updated with the latest IELTS and PTE examination patterns and teaching methodologies.
• Participate in faculty meetings, training sessions, and academic development initiatives.

Administrative Responsibilities

• Prepare academic reports and maintain required classroom documentation.
• Coordinate with the academic and counseling teams regarding student progress.
• Ensure timely completion of assigned academic and administrative tasks.

• Bachelor's degree in English, Education, Linguistics, TESOL, ELT, or a related field.
• A Master's degree will be an added advantage.
• Minimum 2 years of experience teaching IELTS, PTE, or other English language proficiency courses.

Required Skills

• Excellent command of spoken and written English.
• Strong knowledge of IELTS and PTE test formats, scoring criteria, and assessment methods.
• Effective classroom management and presentation skills.
• Strong lesson planning and curriculum delivery abilities.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and mentoring skills.
• Ability to motivate students and create an engaging learning environment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital teaching platforms.

Preferred Experience

• Experience teaching at language institutes, educational consultancies, or training centers.
• Experience conducting mock tests and providing individualized student coaching.
• Familiarity with online and blended learning environments.
• Relevant certifications in TESOL, CELTA, DELTA, or other English language teaching qualifications will be an advantage.
