Job Description

To deliver high-quality Nepali language instruction to lower secondary students, fostering strong language skills, cultural understanding, and academic growth in accordance with the national curriculum and school’s educational philosophy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and effective Nepali lessons as per the National Curriculum.
  • Design lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessments aligned with learning outcomes.
  • Foster students’ reading, writing, grammar, and speaking skills in Nepali.
  • Promote Nepali culture, literature, and values through interactive and inclusive activities.
  • Maintain discipline and a positive learning environment in the classroom.
  • Evaluate student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback.
  • Prepare report cards and participate in parent-teacher meetings.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, assignments, and assessments.
  • Coordinate with other subject teachers and participate in school-wide programs and activities.
  • Attend regular staff meetings, training sessions, and workshops as required.
Job Specification
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nepali, Education, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience teaching Nepali at the lower secondary level.
  • Strong knowledge of the lower secondary Nepali curriculum.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Excellent command of written and spoken Nepali.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Passionate about teaching and student development.
  • Ability to use student-centered and activity-based teaching methods.
  • Familiarity with digital tools and technology integration in teaching.
