Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Executive to manage financial operations, ensure compliance, and support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will be responsible for payroll, taxation, accounts payable/receivable, statutory compliance, and financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
1. Payroll Management
Process and manage employee payroll accurately and on time.
Ensure compliance with company policies and payroll regulations.
2. Statutory Benefits & Compliance
Administer statutory benefits as per applicable laws.
Stay updated with regulatory changes and ensure timely compliance.
Coordinate with government authorities for filings and approvals.
3. Taxation
Prepare, review, and file tax documents accurately and on time.
Ensure compliance with current tax laws and regulations.
Liaise with tax authorities and consultants when required.
4. Accounts Receivable (AR)
Generate and issue invoices to clients in a timely manner.
Follow up on outstanding payments and track collections.
Prepare collection reports and analyze customer profitability.
Review client contracts and agreements for financial accuracy.
5. Accounts Payable (AP)
Review quotations and issue purchase orders.
Process invoices, verify financial data, and maintain AP records.
Ensure proper documentation for vendor payments and approvals.
Track expenses and overhead costs.
Support cost reduction initiatives across the organization.
Forecast cash flow and ensure sufficient liquidity.
Generate aging reports and highlight critical outstanding balances.
Perform monthly bank reconciliations.
Compile and present key financial metrics to management.
7. Audit & Liaison
Coordinate with auditors during audits.
Liaise with government bodies and financial institutions.
Ensure timely settlement of statutory liabilities.
8. Other Responsibilities
Identify discrepancies and ensure timely resolution.
Prepare reports and analyses as required by management.
Monitor competitor financial performance and market trends.
Job Specification
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s preferred).
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and compliance.
Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, or similar) and MS Excel.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Preferred Skills
Experience in financial analysis and reporting.
Experience in handling different countries.
Knowledge of local tax laws and statutory compliance.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
