Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Executive to manage financial operations, ensure compliance, and support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will be responsible for payroll, taxation, accounts payable/receivable, statutory compliance, and financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
1. Payroll Management
- Process and manage employee payroll accurately and on time.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and payroll regulations.
2. Statutory Benefits & Compliance
- Administer statutory benefits as per applicable laws.
- Stay updated with regulatory changes and ensure timely compliance.
- Coordinate with government authorities for filings and approvals.
3. Taxation
- Prepare, review, and file tax documents accurately and on time.
- Ensure compliance with current tax laws and regulations.
- Liaise with tax authorities and consultants when required.
4. Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Generate and issue invoices to clients in a timely manner.
- Follow up on outstanding payments and track collections.
- Prepare collection reports and analyze customer profitability.
- Review client contracts and agreements for financial accuracy.
5. Accounts Payable (AP)
- Review quotations and issue purchase orders.
- Process invoices, verify financial data, and maintain AP records.
- Ensure proper documentation for vendor payments and approvals.
- Track expenses and overhead costs.
- Support cost reduction initiatives across the organization.
6. Financial Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare monthly financial statements (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet).
- Conduct financial ratio and variance analysis.
- Forecast cash flow and ensure sufficient liquidity.
- Generate aging reports and highlight critical outstanding balances.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations.
- Compile and present key financial metrics to management.
7. Audit & Liaison
- Coordinate with auditors during audits.
- Liaise with government bodies and financial institutions.
- Ensure timely settlement of statutory liabilities.
8. Other Responsibilities
- Identify discrepancies and ensure timely resolution.
- Prepare reports and analyses as required by management.
- Monitor competitor financial performance and market trends.
Job Specification
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and compliance.
- Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, or similar) and MS Excel.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in financial analysis and reporting.
- Experience in handling different countries.
- Knowledge of local tax laws and statutory compliance.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
