Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Executive to manage financial operations, ensure compliance, and support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will be responsible for payroll, taxation, accounts payable/receivable, statutory compliance, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

1. Payroll Management

  • Process and manage employee payroll accurately and on time.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and payroll regulations.

2. Statutory Benefits & Compliance

  • Administer statutory benefits as per applicable laws.
  • Stay updated with regulatory changes and ensure timely compliance.
  • Coordinate with government authorities for filings and approvals.

3. Taxation

  • Prepare, review, and file tax documents accurately and on time.
  • Ensure compliance with current tax laws and regulations.
  • Liaise with tax authorities and consultants when required.

4. Accounts Receivable (AR)

  • Generate and issue invoices to clients in a timely manner.
  • Follow up on outstanding payments and track collections.
  • Prepare collection reports and analyze customer profitability.
  • Review client contracts and agreements for financial accuracy.

5. Accounts Payable (AP)

  • Review quotations and issue purchase orders.
  • Process invoices, verify financial data, and maintain AP records.
  • Ensure proper documentation for vendor payments and approvals.
  • Track expenses and overhead costs.
  • Support cost reduction initiatives across the organization.

6. Financial Reporting & Analysis

  • Prepare monthly financial statements (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet).
  • Conduct financial ratio and variance analysis.
  • Forecast cash flow and ensure sufficient liquidity.
  • Generate aging reports and highlight critical outstanding balances.
  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations.
  • Compile and present key financial metrics to management.

7. Audit & Liaison

  • Coordinate with auditors during audits.
  • Liaise with government bodies and financial institutions.
  • Ensure timely settlement of statutory liabilities.

8. Other Responsibilities

  • Identify discrepancies and ensure timely resolution.
  • Prepare reports and analyses as required by management.
  • Monitor competitor financial performance and market trends.
Job Specification
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and compliance.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, or similar) and MS Excel.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in financial analysis and reporting.
  • Experience in handling different countries.
  • Knowledge of local tax laws and statutory compliance.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
