Job Description
The Architect will work closely with clients, engineers, and project teams to produce architectural designs, detailed drawings, and documentation that meet both aesthetic and regulatory standards. This role supports the full lifecycle of building projects — from conceptual design through construction coordination and handover.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with clients to understand project requirements and translate them into architectural concepts and plans.
Prepare architectural drawings, layouts, elevations, sections, and working/construction drawings using CAD/BIM tools.
Produce 3D visualisations, renderings, and presentations to support design proposals.
Coordinate with structural, MEP engineers, and contractors to ensure design intent is maintained throughout construction.
Conduct site visits to monitor progress, resolve design-related issues, and ensure compliance with drawings and specifications.
Ensure all architectural outputs comply with Nepali building codes, municipal regulations, and safety standards.
Assist in the preparation of project documentation, reports, and technical specifications.
Support senior architects and project managers to meet project milestones and quality benchmarks.
Job Specification
Educational Qualification
Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture (B.Arch) or equivalent from a recognized institution.
Experience
Minimum 2 years of professional experience in architectural design and documentation, ideally within a construction, real estate, or architectural firm.
Freshers are also encourage to apply.
Technical Skills
Proficiency in architectural software:
AutoCAD, SketchUp (or equivalent CAD tools)
Revit or BIM tools (strongly preferred)
3D rendering tools (Lumion, V-Ray or similar)
Good understanding of Nepali municipal bylaws, building codes, and permitting processes.
Strong graphical and presentation skills for client-facing proposals.
Core Competencies
Creativity and aesthetic sensibility in architectural design.
Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality deliverables.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Problem-solving and ability to work under deadlines.
Preferred (but Not Mandatory)
Experience with site supervision and construction coordination.
