We are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented, and experienced Loan Processing Officer to join our team in Nepal. This role is ideal for someone with prior experience in the Australian mortgage industry who enjoys taking ownership of loan files and delivering exceptional service. You will work closely with our Australian broker, lenders, solicitors, and clients to ensure loan applications progress smoothly from initial submission through to settlement. Success in this role requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage loan applications from submission through to settlement.
  • Review and verify client documents for accuracy and completeness.
  • Prepare and lodge applications with Australian lenders.
  • Monitor application progress and follow up with lenders, valuers, solicitors, and clients.
  • Maintain accurate records within the CRM and lender systems.
  • Keep brokers and clients informed with regular progress updates.
  • Identify potential issues early and proactively work towards timely resolutions.
  • Ensure all files comply with lender policies and Australian regulatory requirements.
  • Prioritise multiple applications while consistently meeting turnaround times.
  • Contribute ideas to improve internal processes and enhance the client experience.
  • Take ownership of assigned files and be accountable for delivering high-quality outcomes.
Job Specification
  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Management, or a related discipline.
  • At least one year of experience in the Australian mortgage broking or loan processing industry.
  • Experience using Australian lender portals and mortgage CRM systems.
  • Strong understanding of Australian home loan products and lending processes.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • High attention to detail with excellent organisational and time management abilities.
  • Confidence in managing competing priorities while maintaining accuracy.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to work.
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Semi-qualified Chartered Accountants are encouraged to apply.
