Job Description

We are seeking an exceptional Math Curriculum Designer to build a world-class mathematics curriculum that develops deep conceptual understanding, critical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and real-world mathematical applications for students from Kindergarten through Grade 12.

Position Summary

The Math Curriculum Designer will lead the design, development, review, and continuous improvement of Code Mantra's K–12 mathematics curriculum. The ideal candidate combines deep mathematical expertise, instructional design skills, child-centered learning principles, and modern educational technology to create engaging and rigorous learning experiences.

This role requires designing comprehensive curriculum frameworks, lesson plans, assessments, projects, enrichment activities, teacher guides, and learning pathways aligned with educational standards and best practices. Curriculum designers in leading K–12 organizations commonly focus on standards of alignment, learning progressions, assessment development, and instructional quality. 

Key Responsibilities

Curriculum Development

  • Design complete K–12 mathematics curriculum pathways.
  • Develop yearly, quarterly, monthly, and lesson-level curriculum plans.
  • Create curriculum maps and learning progressions across grade levels.
  • Ensure vertical and horizontal alignment throughout K–12 mathematics.
  • Design engaging lessons for:

  • Create inquiry-based and project-based learning experiences.
  • Integrate real-world applications into mathematics instruction. 

Assessment Design

  • Develop diagnostic assessments.

  • Develop rubrics and evaluation frameworks.
  • Design challenges and competition-level activities.
  • Build assessment banks for every grade level. 

Standards Alignment

  • Align curriculum with:

  • Create mastery pathways for each mathematical skill.

Innovation & EdTech Integration

  • Incorporate AI-powered learning experiences.

Job Specification
  • Bachelor's degree in mathematics, Mathematics Education, Curriculum & Instruction, or related field.
  • Master's Degree preferred. 

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of K–12 mathematics teaching experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of curriculum design experience.
  • Experience developing mathematics programs for multiple grade levels.
  • Experience creating assessments and learning materials.
  • Experience in online learning environments is preferred. 

Technical Skills
