Job Description
Photon Energy Development Company Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Mechanical Head to lead and oversee all mechanical engineering activities related to project execution, installation, operation, and maintenance. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient implementation of mechanical works while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise all mechanical engineering activities at the project site.
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor the installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of mechanical systems and equipment.
- Ensure mechanical works are executed in accordance with project specifications, engineering standards, and approved schedules.
- Review mechanical designs, technical drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
- Coordinate with civil, electrical, and project management teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Monitor contractor performance and ensure compliance with contractual and technical requirements.
- Identify technical challenges and implement effective solutions to minimize project delays.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
- Prepare technical reports, progress updates, and maintenance records.
- Manage mechanical resources, manpower, and equipment to optimize project performance.
Job Specification
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 7–10 years of relevant experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in hydropower, energy, infrastructure, or industrial projects.
- Proven experience in managing mechanical installation, commissioning, and maintenance activities.
- Strong understanding of turbines, generators, pumping systems, HVAC systems, and other industrial mechanical equipment.
- Knowledge of engineering standards, safety regulations, and quality management practices.
