Counselor (Abroad Study)

A reputed consultancy is seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable Counselor (Abroad Study) to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for guiding students through every step of the study abroad process — from course selection and application submission to visa documentation and pre-departure support.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide counseling to students and parents regarding study abroad options (Australia, UK, Canada, USA, etc.).
• Assess students’ academic profiles and help them choose suitable universities and programs.
• Assist in preparing and reviewing application documents, SOPs, and admission forms.
• Guide students through the visa documentation process and interview preparation.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of international education systems, universities, and admission requirements.
• Coordinate with partner universities and maintain positive institutional relationships.
• Keep accurate records of student consultations, applications, and follow-ups.
• Conduct seminars, presentations, and information sessions to promote study abroad opportunities.
• Meet monthly counseling and conversion targets set by the management.

• Bachelor’s degree in education, Management, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in the education consultancy or abroad study counseling sector.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong command of spoken and written English.
• Knowledge of visa processes and admission requirements for major destinations.
• Proficiency in MS Office and email communication.
• Friendly, professional, and student-focused attitude.
