Compliance and Sub Grants Manager

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

• CA/ACCA or any other equivalent qualification.
• At least 5 years of experience in the area of compliance, sub grants management and auditing in development sector is required.

Key responsibilities:

The Compliance and Sub Grants Manager is responsible for the overall management of compliance, sub grants management and monitoring units. S/he has close links with project management and finance team while selecting partners and developing monitoring plans. S/he will play a lead role to ensure effective implementation of Sub Grant Management Policy of CARE, maintain proper compliance with the policy of CARE Nepal by performing compliance review in a periodic manner and flagging the issues which are not in compliance with national laws and donor regulation. S/he will oversee financial monitoring of sub grantees based on the risk level as determined by Due Diligence Assessment (DDA) and facilitate different audits of CARE Nepal and its projects.
